Rothstein Kass' Howard Altman Elected Treasurer Of Managed Funds Association

Altman, co-chief executive and principal-in-charge of Rothstein Kass’ financial
services group, has been named as treasurer of the Managed Funds Association. Altman will
also serve for one year as a member of the MFA’s board of directors. “The hedge
fund sector is changing as it becomes more mainstream, and the challenges
facing the industry are changing as well,” Altman said. The Managed
Funds Association is based in Washington,
DC, and represents the global alternative
investment industry. The association was
established to enable hedge fund and managed futures firms in the space to
participate in public policy discourse and learn from peers. It has a
global presence and engages with regulators and policy makers in Asia,
Europe, the Americas, Australia
and other regions where MFA members are market participants.
